Firefox updated today to 56.0.2 despite that I had selected not to update without my permission. That meant: suddenly I have no way of adding a website to speed dial. The context is completely missing.

All my existing dials are all there, no problem with sync either.

But I cannot add anything to any group from the drop-down menu...i.e. "Add to Speed Dial" -

Am also not sure if that is now normal: it shows the new interface for sync, but above that I still see all icons from the older version [where to customize speed dials etc. I do not see any problem in the dashboard panel if Speed Dial - but have now this major problem that I can no longer create a Dial, therefore rendering FVD incapacitated for the most important function :(.

I hope to find help as soon as possible.

PS: I do have a manual backup of course of speed dial as well as bookmarks.Just in case. Aside from the eversync online recovery versions.

What I have tried: disabled all other extension/addons in firefox [one by one] to see if any other addon would create a conflict. Resulting in: no conflict present. Enabled each addon also one by one to double verify. Also - no conflict. I uninstalled FVD and eversync. rebooted my computer, re-installed eversync and FVD - still the same problem exists.

Just to say this: the ONLY reason I even still look at Firefox is because of FVD. I would have ditched FF a few weeks ago at the first taste of disaster coming. Especially since most of my addons show the LEGACY ugly yellow face.

Firefox constantly disables the background image when the browser is turned on after the computer restarts.

This behavior occurred after the upgrade of this plugin.

Please add a multi resolution support to "Custom Dial Size"

Three "Custom Dial Size" group, each one with a dropdown menu with resolutions so Speed Dial can be adaptive for multi-monitor with different resolutions or vertical monitor

HELLO - LOVE THE PROGRAM - BEEN USING IT FOR A LONG TIME. I HAVE OVER 100 DIALS.

THE PROBLEMS I AM HAVING IS EVERYTIME I OPEN FVD OR OPEN A NEW TAB - FVD RELOADS EACH DIAL AND HIJACKS THE SCREEN FOR 2 SECONDS ON EACH RELOAD. IT SHOWS THE PAGE IT IS LOADING AND AND I CANT CONTINUE WORKING UNTIL ALL THE RE-LOADING IS DONE.

IS THERE A WAY TO CHANGE THIS - SETTINGS OR IS IT A PROBLEM WITH THE PROGRAM? I HAVE DELETED AND RELOADED AND I HAVE ALSO LOADED IT FOR THE FIRST TIME ON A FRESH OS - DOESNT SEEM TO CHANGE THE SITUATION.

ANYWAY - LOVE THE FVD AND HOPE TO GET IT RUNNING RIGHT.

The option to make the Speed Dials transparent would be wonderful: both the background of added Dials and the Dials with the plus sign on them.

I would like the option to remove the search bar. When I open anew tab, my text cursor is not focused on the search bar within FVD so it is uneconomical and a waste of my time to use it. It is even more of a waste because I hate not being able to change the search engine or use multiple (Ecosia, DuckDuckGo, etc.).

I think that it would be quite useful for users to be able to remove the search bar to maximise space for Speed Dials which would save a little time that, over time, would add up to a lot. In addition to this, the search bar, at present, is quite unattractive with the annoying font and the FVD Speed Dial icon beside it.
