Причем тут модернизм. Все претензии к Firefox - они выпустили новое АПИ и заставляюи всех перейти на него до 14го числа.

We launched update couple hours ago. Update extension to the latest version: 62.6.7
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fvd-speed-dial/

This is the simples option, not always help but we encourage to try. 

- Copy and paste in address bar about:support  
- Select following http://nimb.ws/Vm5pjy 
- Rename this folder to any name and restart Firefox http://nimb.ws/awxfuW BUT don't delete it. Just rename it, for example Storage_OLD

settings issue should be fixed. Please double check in new update

в адресбаре вставьте about:support

далее нажмите

далее

переименовать эту папку и перезапуститься.

Дайте знать если поможет или нет. 
В целом проблема связанная с этим https://everhelper.me/help1-ru.php  даже те, кто не понижал, у них всеравно такое бывает.

Если приветственное окошко не вылазиет, но настройки слетают, то эта проблема будет скоро решена в след. обновлении.
