Can't login and sync

I have installed the plugin on two FF's - one in a Linux Mint and one in a Windows 10. On the Linux everything is OK, but on the Windows, I can't login with Facebook and sync my bookmarks - the login pop-up window remains empty and nothing is happening.

After a while I saw a message that my bookmarks are already synced e.g. only status window does not work as expected.
