Firefox has developed a unique way of Multi-threading that has been introduced in version 54.0.1.

FVD
Speed Dial is not compatible with this new feature. With FVD Speed
Dial running Firefox reverts to a single thread. Disabling FVD Speed
Dial allows FireFox to multi-thread.
