Always have speed dial open as the first tab/homepage
Similar to Speed Dial by Josep del Rio. It's a bit annoying having to look and see where the speed dial is and/or then realize you don't have one and then opening a new tab. If it would stay static as the first tab always, it would speed things up.

You can configure this setting in your browser settings (New Tab setting)
it is not about opening a new tab but about the startpage of your browser. i have the same problem in FF. no matter what, it doesnt use speeddial as it startpage. it did use to do is. so someting changes - bug
