Speed Dial 2 has replaced Speed Dial FVD; keeps reverting to Speed Dial 2

Hi...

- have latest Chrome;

- had virus, Reset Chrome

- now SpeedDial 2 has replaced SpeedDial FVD

- have imported saved savings, works for that saved setting, but every new tab still shows SpeedDial2

- found 3 year old post about right click in 'free space' and set to 3D; all that doesis activate the 'delete' 'X' on all shown objects

Help

Ideas? Suggestions?

chrome://extensions/ - Check it out there. You need to delete extensions that you don't need.

Also if your browser is connected to your sync account http://nimb.ws/dxQyra

you probably get it installed from different browser, so you need to delete extension there too.

---------- not a factor, only use Chrome for SpeedDial

----------- Restored latest Backup from sync account, no change - SpeedDial2 still in charge

Other ideas to correct this glitch?

that's probably glitch. try to reinstall Chrome Browser

reinstalled Chrome; Sill same issue

Try to go to Control Panel > Programs and Features (Win 10) > and see if you have there suspicious software installed.
