Can no longer t save a webpage to a group

I have saved web pages to a specific group easily until a few days ago. Now when I right click I still get the list, scroll down to FVD Speed Dial, and select the group name I want to save the page to but I don't get the confirmation saying It was Added and the pages I wanted saved are not in the selected group.  I went to everhelper and selected the Speed Dial tab and Merge but the action window shows a moving blue line for hours when it should take only a minute. Just now I clicked on the blue sync button in the small drop down on the FVD page and it did not take me to everhelper or do anything. I am signed in to everhelper, my dials are intact but the sync doesn't work. I use chrome and the chrome extension, W10.
