EverSync fails to sync bookmarks in Chrome

Get a 'sync failed' message in Chrome.  Works fine in Microsoft Edge though.  Completely uninstalled Chrome, rebooted, re-installed Chrome, re-installed EverSync and still has same error.  Same problem on multiple computers so I know it is not isolated to this laptop.
