FVD Speed Dial not downloading thumbnails

When I create a speed dial in Microsoft Edge, the speed dial remains blank and just has the spinning symbol.  This is pretty recent.  Any ideas as to how to correct?

Do you have same problem in Google Chrome?

No, Speed Dial works fine in Chrome.  I also note that with Chrome, a page except briefly comes onto screen and then establishes the preview.  In Edge, no such excerpt, just the spinning symbol.
