Painfully Slow

Why is it so slow to load? First i get the Firefox homepage, then a white screen and then finally Speed Dial opens. This happens on both my Surface Pro and my PC. I don't get it!

Also, when i click on "New tab" i get a white screen flicker before Speed Dial shows
