FVD SpeedDial Homepage without empty Tab!

How is it possible to use FVD SpeedDial as the home page of Firefox? No matter how I implement it, an empty tab always appears when I start Firefox.

Something simple, like, a dial can be link to a group, would give a lot of flexibility to FVD, for example, would allow the user to create a system navigation between groups using dial.

Move forward or backward between group tabs with touch or mouse gestures (right, left), it would also be a great usability improvement.

At first I the installer, tries to download the eversync exe, download of exe files is not allowed behind our proxy.

After that I download this exe in a dmz computer and try to start this after this on my normal computer. But the exe tries to immediatly to connect the internet and this does not work too, it ends immediatly after this.

First of all, thanks for the awesome add-on. It is currently the best speed dial add-on for Firefox as far as I know.

But personally it would be better if I could customise the new tab page a little more, e.g. stacking the dials to the left. Such requirements can hardly be categorised and supported all by the add-on itself, so what about simple allowing custom CSS styles to be applied in the page? FWIW Speed Dial 2 has this functionality in Chrome (it's still quite broken in Firefox though).

New speed dials have nice animated backgrounds. Why not to add it in FVD Speed Dial?

For example, Opera Speed Deal has animated background.

After adding the extension, the standard translation of the pages from the browser, which is in the address bar, disappears. If the extension off, everything comes back to normal.

Place for tmp files is in AppData\Local\Temp not in the download location.

This morning I started the firefox (57.0.2 - 64bit) and speedail shows my only 3 default bookmarks. My individual bookmarks (~1000) are deleted, also when look under settings > bookmarks, all backups older entries are deleted. That´s the second time, that speeddail deleted all the bookmarks, it seems these addon is unstable with Firefox 57.
