It would be good an adjustable fixed grid layout (like 5x4).

The former Speed Dial was much more user friendly than the new one

- drag and drop easier between tabs,

- URL of each favorite was displayed, that could be renamed according user's choice,

- settings of rows and columns was user's choice,

- could "add to SD" in user's selected Tab, not in the 'popular' tab, from were it has to be transfered to the needed one (real waste of time!)? BTW, why adding this new "popular" tab ? When deleting a favorite in it, it disappears from another tab where it has been copied to....

Probably other negative points to add, but I'm fed up with losing time with this 'new speed dial'......

Hopefully will Josip del Rio soon issue a version that fits to Quantum, so tho forget the present piece of.......

It was usefull but now it is very annoying:

1. Website-previews popping up even when I'm in settings

2. I have to redo all settings even if I restore a backup

3. I don't mind 3D effects and other optical frills for the price of usability

4. crashes Firefox

Option to remove this Icon

As someone who uses multiple windows and monitors, each with different size, resolutions and aspect ratios, I would like an option to allow dials to dynamically resize themselves to fit on the screen whilst maintaining the number of columns set by the user.

Currently there only seems to be the option to set number of columns to 'Auto', which causes the relative positions of each dial to shift if the window is resized. It is inefficient for the user to have to figure out where the dial they're looking for has shifted to in this manner.

Please, please use the old version of speeddial in the new version of speeddial FVD

Apart from the always annoying search bar that doesn't allow you to choose the search engine, now the new version took over Firefox manual configuration and forces you to have speed dial as the homepage by default, you can't modify it or reset it to Firefox defaults and it grants itself special permissions like storing offline. Such a shame to have to uninstall it.
