FVD Speed Dial modified my Firefox start page and I can't reset it to 'home'

I've been using FVD Speed Dial for Firefox for several years. Since last update (version 62.4.8, oct-7-2017) FVD Speed Dial changed Firefox start page from 'home' to 'new tab'. I've checked Firefox configuration and it is correct. So I can't reset start page to 'home' unless I disable FVD Speed Dial. My current browser version is Firefox 56.0 (64 bits)

Excuse me, but I don't understand. What is this?

I use Firefox Browser version 52.4.0esr and updated to the latest version of Speed Dial 62.4.8.  I too have a problem with Speed Dial becoming my Start Page even though I have it set in Firefox to start with their default Google Page. I will follow this issue and address my other problems with the new version on another page.

Hi,

This is the simples option, not always help but we encourage to try.

- Copy and paste in address bar about:support
- Select following http://nimb.ws/Vm5pjy
- Rename this folder to any name and restart Firefox http://nimb.ws/awxfuW BUT don't delete it. Just rename.

If it won't help, let us know.

It didn't work and now all my 68 dials are gone. Speed Dial used to be a great extension, but I'm considering seriously to uninstall it for good.

I don't understand you potential solution.  I put that address in the address line it it takes me to another website.  No folder is created to rename and I still have this problem.  Please resolve this issue.
