App does not open some attached photos (usually big file size photos).

I have the following issue with the Android app:

  1. Open a note.
  2. Attach e photo through the dedicated button. Here an example of photo that creates the problem https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=707911D066C45D7B!2271&authkey=!AFzeRIzyw-P4C_c&v=3&ithint=photo%2cJPG
  3. Saving (or not) the note and then click on the photo to open it: it appears the waiting circle, but it runs forever and the photo never appears.

But I notice the following:

  1. If during the forever waiting circle I click on share button and I share the photo to another Nimbus note, the photo into the new note appears in less quality and I'm able to open it.
  2. If I attach the photo as a file, I'm able to open it in full quality.

It happens in generally with big file size photo (e.g. 9MB, with a 31KB photo no issue ) and/or big resolution photo (like panorama).
In the app setting I set "Image quality" to 'low'.
My phone is Xperia Z3Compact with LP5.1.1 and 20Mpx camera.

Do you experience the same issue?

Ok, we will check. Problem in preview gallery. It isn't our script but we will try to fix this problem.


Thanks! This issue makes Nimbus Notes unusable with my 20MPx camera smartphone....I always need to attach photos.

Any news?
I moved to MM 6.0.1 and the issue is still present (Nimbus Note v3.4.1).

I verified that the issue does not happen with photo taken with 8Mpx or less. It happens if I select 15,5Mpx and 20Mpx.
